Introduction to Fauna of Morocco

The fauna of Morocco is most abundant in both birds and insects and less so in reptiles, amphibians, and mammals. Although some guide books and officials will vouch for the presence of a number of larger mammals, I have serious doubts as to whether many still survive. Perhaps I will have better luck in seeking out these more elusive creatures during future photo expeditions.
