Birds - Raptors: Owls, Falcons, & Eagles - 2a
Picture 3 of 49
Birds - Raptors: Owls, Falcons, & Eagles - 2a Male Falcon (Falco tinnunculus). Males have a bluish tint to their head feathers and are larger than females. Taken on March 6, 2012 with my telephoto lens. Birds of course like the hundreds of old TV aerials now replaced with a million satellite dishes.
Birds of Morocco
Some 454 bird species have been sighted in Morocco. Bird photography is a difficult endeavor unless you have a very long telephoto lens and considerable patience. Patience I am fairly good at however my telephoto lens is a fairly modest one at 300mm. Nonetheless like butterfly and bee photography I continue to persist often with increasingly satisfying results. If any ornithologist views these photos and can help by offering the exact Latin names of the birds it would be greatly appreciated. |
