Introduction for the Gallery: Volubilis
These photos were taken on two different occasions. The objects from Volubilis that were photographed in the Archeological Museum in Rabat in 2001 are either already in the new museum at Volubilis or will be there shortly. The site photos were taken on Nov 20, 2014 at sunset. Unfortunately there was little time to see the site and no time to visit the museum. Nonetheless as you can see the light of late afternoon is difficult to improve upon.
